Privacy Policy

Video Tube Player ("the app", "we") is a video player for Android. This policy describes what data the app handles and with whom it is shared.
1. Data we collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app has no user accounts and no servers of our own.
2. Data stored on your device
Your watch history, subscriptions, playlists, downloads, and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded. Uninstalling the app deletes all of this data.
3. Third-party content services
The app plays content from YouTube, SoundCloud, PeerTube, Bandcamp, and media.ccc.de. To do so, it sends requests directly from your device to those services. Those services receive your IP address and the content you request, and handle that data under their own privacy policies. We have no access to or control over that data.
4. Advertising (Meta Audience Network)
The app shows ads served by Meta Audience Network. To deliver and measure ads, Meta may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and network information, and ad interaction data. This data is collected by Meta directly, under the Meta Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
You can limit ad personalization or reset/delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings > Google > Ads.
5. Crash reports
If the app encounters an error, you may choose to send a report. Reports are sent only when you explicitly trigger them, by e-mail, and contain the error details, the app version, your device model, Android version, and the content URL that was being requested. No report is sent automatically.
6. Data deletion
Because we do not store any of your data, there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. For data held by Meta, use the advertising ID controls above or contact Meta. For any other request, contact us at the address below.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes are effective when posted on this page, with the effective date updated above.
